Hell Week: It's Over.

I still have until tomorrow and hell week is officially over. Maaaan, it's a real tiring week (make it two weeks) for me. I'm really excited to blog but I don't know where to start. I guess this entry will be a random one, again.

Since our Valform professor is not around, we decided to start our practice for the interpretative dance in Rizal. We agreed on having our practice at one of our classmates house in Roxas, just a walking distance from our school.

We resumed our practice for the interpretative dance and we pack-up at around 7pm already.

We supposed to have a practice for th interpretative dance but they cancelled it because not everyone will come. Some of us are having our thesis and they asked me if I can spare this time for our thesis and I immediately said yes.

But I still have a practice for my volleyball.

I can say that this day was the most stressing day of our entire college year. Lots of issues and bad news was announced to us which made some of us, including me, burst into tears.

After our exam in Valform we decided to start the practice at around 10:30am. While having our interpretative dance, one of our classmates announced that instead of Sunday, February 23, 2008. Our thesis redefense was moved on Saturday, February 24, 2008 and one of our classmates also announced that instead of having our Rizal examination on Monday, February 25, 2008, the professor moved it on Friday, February 22, 2008.

Can you see the conflicts? Exams, Thesis, Seminars, Rizal, Sportsfest. Like, what the heck are we going to prioritize first? Everything is important. That's why some of us suddenly burst into tears.

I wasn't able to take my examination on SOCULIT because I was busy preparing for the interpretative dance.

The presentation will be at 5pm and because some of us still have classes they decided not to take their examinations just to give way for our Rizal class.

Before we start our presentation, Roma and I talked to our professor because we're not quite prepared for the examination. As you see, we are supposed to present a modern version of the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo and an Interpretative dance of Ako ay Pilipino. Our teacher agreed on making an extension so that we could prsent the play but we still need to present the dance.

After the presentation, one of the judges gave us a grade of 98 while the other one gave us a 90.

My thesis mates and I went to my place to print for our thesis documentation then we went straight to Benedict's house in Novaliches to have our overnight.

The day of the our redefense.

On the day of our redefense, we're really thankful that the lead panelist didn't arrived early or else we'll really be saying hello to the nest semester. We reached school at about 10am because there is a heavy traffic in Novaliches that day. Maaan, we're so lucky!

Thesis Redefense is finally over and I'm proud to say that we passed although only 60 percent of it because the other 40 percent will be judge if we finished all the revisions that the lead panelist is expecting. We'll probably start doing it on wednesday after everything else is done.

It was supposed to be a rest day but there's no rest day for us because we still have our Rizal play to practice. Went home at 5pm.

No classes!

But....

All students enrolled in DLS - STI QA was required to go to school at around 7am to get our intrams shirt and as for the graduating student we are all required to go at Trinoma for the 2nd ICT Jamboree of DLS - STI as well as for the Job Fair.

By the way, we will present the play tomorrow. Wish us luck because we badly needed it.

Uppydates

Just because I wasn't able to update you on what is going on with me I'm going to update you know or I might forget about it again, hahaha.

I'm officially a part of our volleybal team, yehey! Oh, don't think of it as a varsity of some sort. I'm only part of the volleyball team for our school's sport fest. I wasn't really expecting it because I just joined the try out because my friend wants me to accompany her and because I was bored I joined them. Since I'm from the same team the coach include my name on the official line up, hahaha.

I think that I'm going to be actively engaged on sports again.

Remember that entry about the Greek Mythology? As promised, here's the picture.

It's my version of Artemis. I was supposed to do the Aphrodite because as expected our professor gave Aphrodite to me but I asked him if I can changed it to Artemis instead. I was really amazed by her (Artemis) profile and that's the only reason that I can give why I change it from Aphrodite to Artemis.

Anyway, I used the image of traxex. Traxex is one of the many heroes found on the ever addicting computer games which is the world of warcraft or simply DOTA.

I've starting to download Gossip Girl on torrent. Maaaan, I can't wait to watch it again.

Anyway, I watched the premier episode on ETC with my hubby and to my surprised he was also hooked up to Gossip Girl. I guess Gossip Girl addiction is really contagious.

me: Nanonood ka pala, hahaha. Kala ko kasi hindi.

Everyone knows who's that girl with the red headband, right? Anyway, We both love her (Blair).

I can't believe that kc concepcion made me cry a river.

I was watching mmk last night and it was KC Concepcion's turn. I was surprised that she did really great on her first acting role. Although there are times that I don't like the way she cry because I can see that she is controlling her emotions for her to be able to utter here lines but it's okay.

She will do great on showbiz.

Anyway, thesis defense will be on the 24th of February and this time it will be a do-or-die game. If we failed again we'll be bidding hello to next semester.

As we are doing our thesis retouches.

We are also busy with our Rizal presentation, we are going to have a different examination this prefinals in Rizal. We are going to present a modern noli me tangere and an interpretative dance of the Ako ay Pilipino. We are going to present it on the 25th of February, I guess.

The last week of February will be a real hell week for me. There's examination, thesis defense, Rizal presentation, sportfest and a lot of seminars to attend to.

So yea, but I promise to update my blog as often as I can.

Road Block

Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez, team Philippines, finished 3rd on the overall winners at the Amazing Race Asia Season 2.

How and why did it happen? It's because of the last road block. They should arrange the flag in chronological order from where the race started and so on. The arrangement should be Singapore, Philippines, China, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, South Africa and back to Singapore for the last pit stop.

Too bad gym buddies, Collin Law and Adrian Yap had memorize each countries flag since they where a kid and because of this they won the race.

Oh well there is always a second time and besides Marc and Rovilson were also winners especially from all the prices that they got being a consistent 1st team to arrive at the pit stop.

By the way, Pamela and Vanessa Chong (sister) was the 2nd placer.

Congratulations to Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez of the Philippines for bringing pride to our country.

SOME SICKO DECIDED TO MOCK OUR COUNTRY

I found about this through one of my friend's bulletin post on friendster and when I read the article I was so pissed by what the person is saying.

It's not just our country but other countries as well.

I'm actually blogging again

I know I said something about being on a haitus for another 3 more weeks but I can't help it. I miss thinking of words to make my brainstorming mind to construct a good sentence. I sound really cheesy right now.

Anyway, on our world literature class today our professor made a plan of transforming our classroom into a japanese room by placing all tables and chairs outside the room and replace them with either foot rug or pillows. He made us create our own haiku, one in traditional and the other is free verse it was really fun because our professor also provided a background music of natures and other music that will make you feel calm so your mind will stimulate more.

He also instruct us to draw pictures that will rerpresent the haiku that we constructed.

Here's my traditional haiku

changes

Flowers are withered
During the winter season
And blooms back on May.

And here's my free verse haiku

star bright

Bright stars beneath the dark clouds
Vanishes my fears away
And makes me feel calm and protected.

I know. It's not really a good one but at least I can say that I'm damn proud of myself because I was able to construct not just one but two haikus in just 40 minutes. I'm not sure what my grade would be because we're going to pass the activity next week, Tuesday.

I so love our finals project for our world literature subject. Our professor instructd us to research for the greek gods/goddesses of our choice and we will also create our picture just like that of the gods/goddesses that we have chosen. In short, we're going to merged our face on that of the gods/goddesses by using photoshop. Isn't it fun.

Anyway, I choose venus/aphrodite but I'm not yet sure about it because it's a first come first serve basis. I hope it will be me.

Anyway, I've been bloghopping for a while and I came across a blog who rants about her blog being hosted. I know I'm not in a position to react this way but would someone really explain to me the advantages and disadvantages of having a hosted blog? Seriously, I just don't get the concept. Maybe someone can explain it to me.

I'm not staring a cyber-war in here, I'm just curiously asking because until now I don't have any idea about it.

You Know You Love Me

Finally, I'll be able to watch Gossip Girl without worrying if the channel in YouTube would be banned pr dismissed, hahaha.

Gossip Girl will have its premiere episode on February 12 at I guess exactly 8pm. Catch its premiere at the ETC channel.

Oh my, I sound like a promoter or advertiser for a new show. Wohooo! I'll be able to watch it completely.

Quick Updates (revised version)

Since I'm going to be out on the blogging world for another 2 or 3 weeks, I might as well do a quick blog on what had happened to me during the past weeks that I'm not around.

Here goes my bulleted update (not in order)

- DLed The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Jordin Sparks songs on limewire
- Drunk alcohol after our defense
- Had a redefense remark on our thesis
- Been restless for the past weeks (2 - 3 hours or no sleep at all)
- Been listening and dancing on Soulja Boy's Crank That (what's with soulja boy anyway that keep everyone dance their feet away?)
- Been busy with studies

There, the list may be short but when it comes to real life situation everything's complicated. I have been managing my time for the past weeks just to accomodate all the task that I should do. It's not really easy to be a student, I'll make that a graduating student because you have to comply with all the requirements on time or else.
